    Manjil Power Generation Company (Public joint stock) has been registered in Rasht City Registration Office under number 1178 and according to letter number 11/5449. Tavanir Company officially started its activity and based on a contract with Iran Electricity Network Management Company, sells its generated electricity to that company.

     

    The Subject Of Company’s Activity

    The main activity of the company is the production and sale of various types of energy within the framework of rules and regulations to individual and legal entities, investment and participation in construction, purchase, execution, design, participation in investment in power plants and so on.

     Manjil Green Power Generation Company is currently operating and selling electricity in Manjil wind power plants.

     Summary of the History and Current Status of the Power Plant

    The center of activity of Manjil Green Power Generation Company is at 70 km of Rasht-Qazvin road, Manjil city and in Manjil wind power plant.

    This power plant consists of 5 main sites including Manjil and Paskolan, Siahpoosh, Rudbar and Herozil.

    The turbines installed and in operation at these sites are mainly built using the technology of the Danish companies NEG Micon and VESTAS, which are installed and used in capacities of 300, 500, 550 and 660 kW in different time periods.

    Manjil 92.2 MW wind power plant is the first wind power plant in Iran and the Middle East since 1994 and with the installation of a wind turbine unit with a capacity of 500 kW began its work,

    After holding the auction by the Privatization Organization, Omid Taban Hoor Energy Management Company was selected as the winner of the auction and became the owner of 99.58% of the shares of Manjil Green Power Generation Company and its contract was exchanged between the parties in 06/05/2018.

     Necessary action was taken to inspect the condition of the power plant and wind turbines, and according to the knowledge that existed from the technical, scientific and practical aspects of the power plant condition, staff planning was done to eliminate obstacles and problems in the power plant.

     By maintaining the level of employment, and relying on domestic and local power and capacity by empowering companies and regional and domestic contractors, as well as providing the necessary parts and equipment and carrying out major repairs and periodic service of power plant turbines, we saw an increase in power plant from 38 MW to about 80 MW.
